Country faces largest emergency in 80 years

Massive floods triggered by snowmelt and heavy rains are wreaking havoc across Kazakhstan.

Over 102,000 people have been rescued and evacuated and extensive damage has been reported across multiple regions. It is the country's largest emergency in the past 80 years and a state of emergency has been officially declared.

How We're Responding

The team in Kazakhstan has mobilized and is actively distributing food and supplies, as well as providing ministry to their community.

Food + Supplies

  • The team provided food, clothing, clean water, and other essentials to the community.
  • Served over 250 individuals with prepared meals during a one-day distribution event.
  • Supplied groceries sufficient for one month's needs.
  • Established a food distribution site for continued community support.

Community Care

  • The team is clearing debris from homes affected by flood damage.
  • Rebuilding homes devastated by the flooding.
  • Offering community care and spiritual support through prayer and ministry.
