Active Response Underway
The Pacific Palisades and Eaton Fires, along with smaller fires (Hurst, Lidia, and Sunset), have devastated the greater Los Angeles area. The fires have destroyed wildlands, cities, and neighborhoods across Pacific Palisades, Altadena, Pasadena, West Hollywood, and the northern San Fernando Valley, with thousands of homes burned and multiple lives lost.
Foursquare Disaster Relief (FDR) is actively collaborating with the Western and National Hispanic Districts to support the response.
FDR is currently partnered with 14 local churches that are currently providing resources, supplies, and spiritual + emotional support to the surrounding community.
The team is distributing generators, sleeping bags, cots, water filtration systems, internet access, and other critical supplies to churches acting as community support centers.
