Foursquare Disaster Relief

Foursquare Disaster Relief brings hope and healing to those most impacted by disaster, in the U.S. and the world. We partner with local churches in affected areas to supply food, water, shelter, and care long after the media have left.

Establishing Long-term Solutions

During ongoing humanitarian crises, FDR remains steadfast with disaster relief services that survivors desperately need to rebuild.

HURRICANE IAN

Foursquare Disaster Relief is responding to the Category 4 hurricane that hit the West Coast of Florida. Massive damage from 140 MPH winds and floodwaters as high as eight feet have devastated areas. We have activated our network of partners through our local Foursquare Church to help locations from Ft. Myers to Orlando.

Semi loads of immediately needed food and water are being sent and distributed as fast as they arrive to bless and provide for the community.

February 2023 – Foursquare Disaster Relief Training – Adelanto, CA

Jay and Patty Donnelly Chaplains and FDR Leaders teach this in-person Disaster Relief Training. The goal is to equip leaders to respond and make a difference in disasters and crises. The Disaster Relief Training is a 16-hour course. The training is vital for anyone interested in assisting in a local, regional, or large-scale disaster, including serving with FEMA, State, County, and local disaster response teams. Training is mandatory for anyone wanting to help with Foursquare Disaster Relief teams at any level.

You will be instructed how to continue CISM, FEMA and other specialized disaster relief training. FDR Disaster Relief Training will provide a Certificate of completion for the 16 hours of FDR training. To be certified as an FDR responder, students must complete an online form after Class verifying pastoral endorsement, a background check on file with their church, and an agreement with the standards in the Foursquare Child + Youth Protection Manual. This training and certification only apply to deployment through Foursquare Disaster Relief. We encourage each church to develop a local team and network with local First Responders so they can be available to work with their community emergency services when disaster strikes.
