Even when there is no active disaster, 446,000 children die annually from diarrhea, caused mainly by unsafe drinking water.
Join Foursquare Disaster Relief's water initiative, Project Water, as we work with our global Foursquare family to provide clean water in disaster around the world with water filtration systems. In different situation we utilize bucket filters for home use, electric power filters for church or school use, or large desalination filtration systems for community use, along with rehabilitation of water wells or drilling new wells in areas with refugees or no access to water.
Our big initiative is to partner with the six Foursquare regions worldwide setting them up with lifesaving mobile desalination water filtration systems. These systems provide fresh, clean water to people and serve as a safeguard when disaster strikes. We are giving our communities the tools to show the love of Christ in people's darkest times of need. Water is life!
Our goal is to raise $150,000 to install six Aquifer 360 Expedition watermakers in areas that desperately need them. These filtration systems are portable, powerful, energy-efficient, filters out salt and contaminants, and durable enough to be used in the harshest environments.
Each filtration system is $20k for the hardware, with $5k for implementation, maintenance and training.
In addition to the project above
We have opportunities to support disaster stricken communities with other water filtration needs including:
Bucket filters for home use $15
Drill a water wells for $10,000
Electric filtration system to be used in a church, school, orphanage for $1,500
You can sponsor an entire system for $25k, help purchase a bucket filter, drill a well, or help to support the purchase of any of these filters with any amount possible.
OUR GOAL: $250,000
