Hurricanes Helene + Milton

⚠️ This is a developing response. Please check in here for regular updates.

Active Response Underway

Hurricane Milton has struck the Tampa area with great force, causing severe damage. We're preparing to re-enter the affected zone as soon as it’s safe + we’re ready to deploy immediately.

In North Carolina, we're continuing to provide food, distribute supplies, offer shelter, and care for broken hearts with the love of Jesus in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

In these times, what matters most is simply our presence—walking alongside those in need, offering care, and sharing in their grief.

As you pray and give, know that you are there with those who are suffering. Thank you for your partnership; it is making a true impact. We are deeply grateful for you.

Florida Response

The FDR Truck and Trailer have been deployed to Tampa, Florida, with two team members taking charge of logistics and serving as the main point of contact. Three local churches are actively involved in the response, focusing on debris removal, cleanup efforts, and supply runs in Crystal River, St. Petersburg, and Tallahassee. FDR has also sent funds to support response efforts in these areas.

Carolina's, Virginia, Kentucky, and Georgia Response

The FDR team is also deployed in North Carolina to address the severe flooding caused by the hurricane. The response is being coordinated across multiple states, with local churches providing hot meals and supplies for affected families. Additional funds have been sent to Virginia to support community responses.
