From Crisis to Restoration
The response to Hurricanes Helene + Milton demonstrated the strength of the Foursquare family working together in times of crisis.
Local churches across Florida and North Carolina served as hubs of relief, providing food, supplies, shelter, and spiritual care to their communities. Years later, the impact of that work continues through strengthened ministry partnerships, ongoing community outreach, and restored lives made possible through faithful, long-term support.
Florida Response
The FDR Truck and Trailer have been deployed to Tampa, Florida, with two team members taking charge of logistics and serving as the main point of contact. Three local churches are actively involved in the response, focusing on debris removal, cleanup efforts, and supply runs in Crystal River, St. Petersburg, and Tallahassee. FDR has also sent funds to support response efforts in these areas.
Carolina's, Virginia, Kentucky, and Georgia Response
The FDR team is also deployed in North Carolina to address the severe flooding caused by the hurricane. The response is being coordinated across multiple states, with local churches providing hot meals and supplies for affected families. Additional funds have been sent to Virginia to support community responses.
