About: FDR Medical is our dedicated medical response team. This team consists of doctors, dentists, nurses and other medical professionals who use their knowledge and expertise to bring healing to communities worldwide.
Mission: FDR Medical is unique in its ability to deploy when disaster strikes. Foursquare has thousands of churches in more than 150 nations around the world. We link with these churches and minister to the affected community by providing medical and spiritual care.

Dates: August 1st-11th (10 days in-country)
Cost: $1k for field expenses plus the cost of airfare.

Ongoing – Disaster Relief Training Church Host
Do you want to equip your church leaders with Disaster Relief Training? To be a Foursquare church ready to respond when a disaster hits your community? Our team is currently scheduling ongoing DRT training events for this year.
Date: Ongoing, 16-hour course taught on two consecutive days.
Cost: $1000 to bring our trainers to your site. Some churches are ok to cover the expense. Some charge per student and others fundraise. We hope to see each church embrace the opportunity as part of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.
Requirements:
- Identify a point person from your church who will work with the FDR Team with logistics and administration.
- Students need to be 18 years of age. As young as 16 years old if accompanied by a parent.

Critical Incident Stress Management Course: Assisting Individuals in Crisis
Course Description:
Crisis Intervention is NOT psychotherapy; instead, it is a specialized acute emergency mental health intervention that requires specialized training. As physical first aid is to surgery, crisis intervention is to psychotherapy. Thus, crisis intervention is sometimes called “emotional first aid.” The course is designed to teach the fundamentals of protocol for individual crisis intervention and to increase the knowledge of one-on-one crisis intervention in the fields of Business + Industry, Crisis Intervention, Disaster Response, Education, Emergency Services, Employee Assistance, Healthcare, Homeland Security, Mental Health, Military, Spiritual Care, and Traumatic Stress.

- Resistance, resiliency, recovery continuum

- Evidence-based practice

*Based on a formula of 1 Continuing Education Unit for every ten contact/classroom hours.
*PLEASE NOTE: These hours are only applicable towards courses offered at Live Training, Regional Trainings, Online Courses, and the World Congress.

Ongoing FDR Responder Renewal + Recertification 2022
Are you a Disaster Relief Responder or a DRT Attendee who needs to get certified or recertified so you can deploy with FDR? If so, you are in the right place.
Below is the applicable info needed to complete the process. We recommend pausing and coming back to finish if information needs to be collected. Questions? Email Fdrtraining@foursquare.org
Needed to complete:
- If you are a recent Disaster Relief Training Attendee and NOT a Foursquare Licensed Minister you will need your Senior pastor’s name and email for pastor endorsement signature. If you are a Foursquare Licensed Minister you will skip this requirement.

- Proof of completing NIMS online course 100, an equivalent, or an ICS course that supersedes the 100 through FEMA (found at https://training.fema.gov/nims/ )
- If you are a responder who has taken DRT in 2019 or earlier, you will need to show proof below of one of the two options:
- Option 1:
- Confirm completion of at least two hours of Continuing Education in the last calendar year. Info needed: Name, location, hours of instruction, instructor’s name and email for training or class.
- Examples of approved CE’s are: NIMS 100, 200, 700, or 800
- NIMS, CERT or any other local disaster relief training
- First Aid/CPR
- Any CISM or ICS classes
- Examples of approved CE’s are: NIMS 100, 200, 700, or 800

- OR Option 2.
- Deployment or response to state or nationally declared disaster within the last two years. Please submit the date, location, duration, and sending agency for a deployment.
