Pastor Gareth Phillips, the Foursquare National Leader of Jamaica, has kindly requested FDR Medical to join his ministry team in serving rural Jamaican parishes. These communities encounter numerous challenges in accessing healthcare. FDR Medical is currently planning a trip to Jamaica in July 2024, and we would love to invite all medical volunteers to participate.
We strongly encourage FDR medical volunteers to participate in these scheduled international outreaches with FDR Medical. These trips encompass various aspects:
- Collaborating with the local International Foursquare Church to provide support, encouragement, build relationships, and extend outreach to their communities.
- Offering both medical and spiritual assistance to the communities.
- Equipping our volunteers for future disaster deployments through specialized training.
FDR Medical: Cambodia 2024
Cambodia’s national leader, Sou Olbrich, has requested that Foursquare Disaster Relief Medical organize a medical outreach for the tribal communities in Ratanakiri Province. FDR Medical will partner with local leaders, pastors, and medical professionals to facilitate this initiative.
It is a privilege to collaborate with our Foursquare family and support our shared mission with the local community, both medically and spiritually. Our tentative plan is to arrive in the country on September 14th, spending 8 to 10 days there. We will land at Phnom Penh Airport, the capital of Cambodia, and then drive approximately 8 hours to reach Ratanakiri Province.
Tentative Dates: September 14-22, 2024 (8-10 days in country)

Cost: Approximately $1,200 per person

- Understand protocols for engaging with FEMA and other response teams
- Benefit from insights shared by seasoned disaster response leaders
Cost: Bringing our trainers to your site costs $1,000. Some churches can cover this expense directly, while others opt to charge per student or fundraise. We hope every church will embrace this opportunity as part of their commitment to equipping the saints for the work of ministry.
Requirements:
- Designate a point person from your church to collaborate with the FDR Team on logistics and administration.
- Students must be at least 18 years old. Younger participants, as young as 16, are permitted if accompanied by a parent.
